Property Description

This apartment is fitted out to be comfortable and cosy, and is an ideal, relaxing getaway for a couple or small family looking for high quality communal amenities, within a tranquil safe and secure setting in an oasis of beautifully maintained gardens with a backdrop of the landmark Montgo mountain.

Denia and Javea are only 10 minutes drive in either direction on the coast and the local “Campo” (countryside) is stunning all year round. This apartment will appeal to serious and recreational walkers with some of the finest scenery and a mixture of challenging and relaxing walks on the doorstep with no need to drive.

There is ample seating for diners inside and out on the terrace, parasols provide plenty of shade and the living area comes with air conditioning and there are ceiling fans throughout. The main open plan living room / diner / American style kitchen is spread across the whole of the apartment and accesses the terrace. The kitchen is extremely well appointed, in the living room there is plenty of comfy seating throughout and satellite UK TV, DVD and WiFi.
The bedroom is light and airy with windows overlooking the terrace and a convenient family bathroom with shower and bath. This apartment is a peaceful high quality get away on an award winning complex.


The local area of Jesus Pobre is a traditional Spanish village with modern day facilities conveniently situated between the coastal towns of Denia and Javea that retains a bygone country feel yet is only minutes away from modern day life.

This small village with its narrow streets, traditional townhouse and pleasing modern urbanizations is dominated by the Montgo Mountain and National Park Area. It is hidden amongest the beautiful woodlands and flat valley that spreads towards the sea with orange, almond and olive trees.

This village has many Fiestas and a wonderful Sunday market where local traders and farmers sell their food, drink and other artisan products with a background of song and dance in the Valencian style. On the 9th of October (the day of the Valencians) you will enjoy a wonderful Village party and music well into the late evening.

Food and drink plays an important part in the life of Jesus Pobre and there are several bars/restaurants that provide traditional Tapas, variety of full meat and fish dishes and of course the authentic Paella, all to be enjoyed whilst soaking up the village hospitality and life.


The area and surrounding resorts enjoy a warmer climate making it an all year round location.

Javea Area:

A coastal jewel, Javea has long been called 'Amenecer de Espana' or 'Dawn of Spain' as it looks eastward over the Mediterranean sea. The picturesque resort comprises 3 areas, the Casaca Urbano (town centre) with it's shops and boutiques, the working port along which many restaurants and bars line the Avienda del Mediterraneo and the sandy Arenal beach with esplanade. For the most impressive viewpoint capture the panoramic views of Javea from the lighthouse at the Cabo de Nao - simply breathtaking.

Denia Area:

Denia is a delightful cosmopolitan town, rich in history and culture. The town's focal point is the 16th Century castle, which dominates the town from a height of 58 metres. The main street for shopping in Denia is Calle Marques de Campo. This is a wonderful Parisian tree lined avenue with shops, cafe/bars and restaurants where you can sit and relax enjoying the culture and atmosphere of the town. There are exquisite boutiques and gift shops and the restaurants offer some of the best regional and international cuisine. The blue flag sandy beaches of Las Rotas and Las Marinas lye either side of the main town.

Golf:

26 Los Lagos is perfect for golfers looking for a location to visit any of the 25 courses within an hours drive. The Costa Blanca has many renowned golf courses of which 5 are less than half an hours drive away. Javea itself has 2 – the internationally renowned 27 – hole course at La Sella which is a 3 minute drive away, and a local 9-hole course which is more difficult than it looks and has superb views of the ‘landmark’ Montgo mountain. There are further 9-hole courses at Moraira and Altea and the 18-hole Seve Ballesteros designed course at Oliva Nova Golf Club.

There are also very good courses at Benidorm, Valencia and Alicante, in particular the famous 18-hole championship links course at El Saler, for those who don’t mind an hour or so drive before the round.

There is plenty for the kids to do if they get bored with the swimming pool and beaches. Less than 30 minutes away there are many attractions for all ages including ‘Terra Natura’ animal park, ‘Mundomar’ an animal water park, ‘Aqualandia’ a themed water park and ‘Terra Mitica’ a huge fun park, boasting some of the largest rides in Europe.
