10 Things To Do In Denia

 

-        Great day out for everyone, visit Denia Castle, the symbol of the city and a great attraction overlooking the coastline. Take a tour or attend an event.

 

-        Spend family time playing and sunbathing on Denia’s long sandy beaches of Las Marinas or Las Rotas with its blend of sand, uncrowded rocky coves and promenade.

 

-        Enjoy and discover the fun and adventure with a whole host of activities in the resort, perfect for families. Snorkel the inspiring seabed of Las Rotas or take part in Water Sports at Las Marinas.

 

-        Walk the bustling tree-lined main high street full of shops, bars, pavement cafes and terraces or the streets surrounding including Calle Calderon with the curious Toy Museum. Don’t forget the mix of modern architecture and ancient neighbourhoods, old fisherman’s houses and colourful modern streets to wander.

 

-        Play Golf in Denia, there are 4 courses including La Sella Golf and Oliva Nova Club de Golf.

-        Take a Ferry to Ibiza, an ideal long day trip, or stay longer. Tempted….

-        Organise a sailing trip, fishing trip, or tourist boat from the Marina.

Denia is a cosmopolitan town and port city on the eastern coast of Mediterranean Spain. The walls of Denia Castle dominate a hilltop by the marina. Its ruins also host the Archaeological Museum with Roman artifacts found nearby. The area is a great place for family beach holidays with its coastline stretching over 15km. Denia has a more Spanish feel and is a working town with excellent transport links.

Local airports are either Alicante or Valencia approx 90 minutes away. Discover the Balearics from the port and head to Ibiza and Majorca.
