10 Things To Do In Calpe

-        Walk up the Penyon de Ifach (mighty Calpe Rock) standing 332 metres above sea level and admire the breathtaking panoramic views over Calpe. Absolutely impressive sight. An adrenaline rush in many ways. Level of fitness required.

-        Walk the seafront and over 2 kilometres of Calpe’s promenades seeing all its splendour and beauty spots.

-        Spend family time playing and sunbathing on our award-winning great sandy beaches of ‘Arenal Bol’ and ‘Levante o la Fossa’. Fancy a dip in the Mediterranean or something more sporty with a water sport.

-        Discover fun and adventure with child-friendly activities in the resort, perfect for families. Snorkelling with the kids at Raco Cove in crystal waters and observe the seabed.

-        Sample the many bars and restaurants by the sea. Take in the scenic fishing port and selection of fish restaurants specialising in seafood.

-        Organise a sailing trip or boat cruise for everyone from the harbour – these are for all ages.

-        Visit the Old Town and immerse yourself back in the medieval 14th Century where history tells us of the defensive Castle Tower to keep pirates out. Walk the Spanish Steps, view the colourful mosaic murals and cobblestone narrow streets for a flavour of all things Calpe.

-        Spend Saturday mornings at the Market on Avienda de Rumania with Craft, Clothing, Toys, Jewellery, Fruit and Veg, Treats and surprises or walk the main high street ‘Avienda Gabriel de Miro’

-        Visit the local towns of Altea, Moraira, Javea and Denia by car, train, bus, taxi, or boat.
